Such portion of land his Excellency believes is between the buildings now erected on lot No 21 and the ground now occupied by the Commissariat registered in the Name of War Department, and extends from the Queen's Road to the sea.

It may here be necessary to point out what is between the two passage buildings referred to in the above notice, the space of 6 feet from the Commissariat to the Eastward is War Department grounds and therefore cannot be appropriated by the Colonial Government. There are also other important considerations by which the Major General is desirous of calling the attention of His Excellency the Governor.
